The Masía Ampurdanés is located in the municipality of La Baronía de Rialb, at the northeast side of the region of La Noguera, 24 km away from Ponts, 37 km from Artesa de Segre, 64 km away from Balaguer (capital of the region), 90 km from Lérida, 140 km from Tarragona, 200 km from Gerona and 144 km from Barcelona. It is one of the biggest and less inhabited municipalities of the region. It is surrounded by antique parish churches, towns and rural houses that compose a space where there are many streams of water, forests and a social and economical structure that is mainly based on the agriculture and livestock.
