Nature and culture get together nicely in this zone. The cultural excursionism has different routes, which will take us to an immense group of towns and rural houses that keep all the charm of the traditional rural constructions. In fact, the Barony of Rialb has a total amount of 23 hermitages and Romanesque churches that will make your stay an experience rich in history and scents.
One of the most interesting tours is the "Castles of Lleida: A journey to the past". It includes well-preserved fortresses that will lead the visitor back to the medieval ages, when these lands constituted the border between the Arab and Christian worlds. The traditional tour of castles of Lleida includes six fortresses: Montsonís, in La Noguera; Montclar, in L'Urgell, Florejacs, Les Pallargues and Vicfred, in La Segarra; and Mur, in El Pallars Jussà.
The guided visits to the different castles will allow, to the curious ones, discovering the past of a land rich in its natural resources, the named "Castilla of Cataluña".

Other interesting journey is the so called "Route of the Romanesque". It is a journey in the time that will lead the passenger to visit the 23 Romanesque churches that constitute the municipality of the Barony of Rialb, rich in its landscapes, and full of centenarian hermitages that guard an incomparable historical heritage.
